Charles F. Daughters, age 86, of Madison, Ohio, was at home surrounded by his family as he went to join his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, April 13, 2016. He was born October 31, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Harold and Margaret (Blackmon) Daughters. Charles married Sally Buckholdt in Willoughby, Ohio on November 22, 1952. Charles was a 1948 graduate of Harvey High School. He owned and operated Daughters Dairy Isle in Wooster, OH for four years. Charles entered into banking at the First Federal Savings & Loan in Willoughby and was the owner of Daughters Florist in Madison. Chuck was a lifelong member of the Lions Club, and was very proud of their work. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sally; his children, Charles F. (Kathy) Daughters, Debora L. (Rick) Fitch, Dana L. (Diane) Daughters, and Sandra L. Daughters; adoring grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, David C. Daughters; his parents; brothers, Bob Parker, Harold Daughters; and sister, Jayne Daughters. Friends will be received 11 12 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3050 McMackin Road, Madison, Ohio with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Rev. Howard Davis will be officiating. Private family burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
