Charles "Chuck" Vaigl

Charles "Chuck" Vaigl, age 73, resident of Madison, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born November 1, 1938 in Cleveland to Velma (Hollis) and Charles Vaigl, and married Claudia Danes in Willoughby, OH on July 7, 1989.
Chuck served in the US Marine Corp. He had a passion for dogs and actively bred and showed Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Labrador Retrievers in competition for many years. Was a member of the Western Reserve Kennel Club and the American Chesapeake Club. He loved to read Louie L'amour novels, worked with his dogs and played with the puppies.
He is survived by: Wife, Claudia Vaigl of Geneva Sons, Mike (Colette) Vaigl of Fairview Park, OH Kurt (Michelle) Vaigl of Akron, OH Grandchildren,Cora & Gavin Step-Grandchildren,Brett & Brooke Brother, Jim (Dee) Vaigl of Cape Coral Florida
He was preceded in death by his son, Chuck Vaigl and his parents.
Friends will be received from 5-8 PM, Friday, August 17, 2012 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Final Resting Place will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
