Charles Andrew Ledford, age 64, of Perry, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Palliative Care unit at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He was born July 11, 1951 in Bryson City, North Carolina. He married Victoria Lyn Neill in Las Vegas, NV on July 2, 2007.
Charles was a concrete carpenter at Donley's Inc. and retired on July 27, 2005. He was a 37 year member of Carpenter Locals 95 and 435. He enjoyed playing golf on Tuesday's with the "Old Geezer's Golf League. Chuck also loved raising and showing quarter horses. He cherished spending time with his family and friends and at the time of his passing he was in Alabama assisting his son building a horse facility.
He is survived by his father, Omer Ledford; wife, Victoria; children, Heather Ledford, Shane (Tina) Ledford and Jason (Rebecca) Abbott; and grandchildren, Isaiah, Ethan, Aariana, Liliana, Gianna, Eliza, Everett and Griffin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Earls Ledford; daughter, Jennifer Ledford; sister, Sandra Robinson; and his previous wife, Sharon Ledford.
Friends will be received 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057. A Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery, Center Road, Perry, Ohio.

Chuck was not only a close family member but he was also my friend. We built many unforgettable memories during our childhood that cannot be forgotten. I am glad I got to visit with him and family in the hospital in Birmingham.
Good time Charlie: He said he was “experienced” and that he was. RIP To Omer, I offer my heartfelt condolences.
I always enjoyed talking with Chuck at the horse shows and helping him de-winterized his trailer.
My deepest sympathy to Omer, Shane, Victoria and Heather. I have so many good memories of the times our families spent together at the horse shows over the years, especially when Chuck would yodel and Eric and Omer would sing!!! Those were the days!!! Chuck Ledford, you will be missed, RIP my friend!
