Cecil Paul Thompson

Cecil Paul Thompson, age 76, of Thompson, OH went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014. He was born December 2, 1937 in Fort Blackmore, VA to Charles and Donnie (nee Hicks) Thompson. He married Sally Enos in Confluence, PA on September 26, 1959. He worked for Caterpillar for 31 years. He was a good father, and a better grandfather. Cecil was a protector and a provider, who always persevered. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Michael Richards ) Gaul; son, Kevin (Michelle Cole) Thompson; granddaughters Rene (Robert) Stark, Jamie (Daniel) Kennison; grandson, Kevin Thompson; half-sister, Nell Courtney; half-brother, Chuck Thompson and best friend, Jack Crook. Cecil was preceeded in death by his wife, Sally; his parents; sister, Bonnie Olene; brothers, Fred, Ralph and James Thompson. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014 at the BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8th at the funeral home. Pastor Tom Gruver of Thompson United Methodist Church will be officiating.
