Carolyn Stanley, age 77, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Madison Healthcare. She was born January 18, 1943, the daughter of Elizabeth (Robertson) and Clyde Crabtree.
Carolyn was an avid reader who enjoyed going on adventures and trying new foods. Her favorite singer was Alan Jackson.
She is survived by daughters, Brenda (Mark) Sprout, Cheryl (Bob) Pacileo, and Monica (Dave) Anderson; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Angela (Jack) Bailey, Shirley (Jim) Trader, and Dale (Kathie) Crabtree. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roscoe Lynch; second husband, Harley “Bill” Stanley; daughter, Theresa Jones; grandson, Mark Sprout, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Genervere Lovejoy; and sister, Bonnie Crabtree.
Friends will be received 2-4pm and 6-8pm Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. in Madison. A funeral service will take place 11am Monday, August 17, 2020 at the funeral home. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing. Dear Granny, As much as I hate to see you leave im very happy you get to be with Mom and Papaw. Kim, Cole and I love you very much and will miss you.
