Carolyn F. Jarvis

Carolyn F. Jarvis, 88, of Perry OH passed away and joined our Lord the morning of September 4, 2016. She was born in Painesville to Howard and Vallie (nee Albie) King on July 14, 1928. Carolyn graduated from Painesville Harvey High School and shortly after met her soul mate, Francis Dale Jarvis. They met by chance in Painesville while Dale was at a family picnic. Carolyn was babysitting that day across the street and they hit it off. Carolyn enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson with Dale, especially when their little dog Shorty accompanied them in the saddlebag, and that Shorty loving the wind blowing in her ears. Carolyn was an avid reader and word search puzzle lover. She loved the Bible and reading about Angels. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Perry, she was known as Sister Peggy. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Dale; sons Donald Jarvis, Eugene (Nancy) Jarvis; adopted daughter Sharon. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Wallace King. While there will be no services observed at this time, friends may make contributions to assist the family. The Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is serving Carolyn's family during this time.
