Carolyn Ann Mattwig, age 74 passed away January 28, 2022 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born April 3, 1947 in Cleveland to Melvin G. and Helen (Keeling) Herborn. She married James M. Mattwig, Sr. on July 26, 1996. Carolyn worked as an assembler at 3M for 14 years.
She leaves behind husband, Jim; son, Michael C. Branem; daughter, Dawn M. Simonetti; step-children, Dan (Jennifer) Hood, James (Julie) Mattwig; grandchild, Joseph P. A. Simonetti; step-grandson, Daniel Hood; almost step-grandson, Nicholas Rose, mother, Helen Herborn; sisters, Christine A. Tomsic, Judith Eden, Audrey M. (Roger) Early; and brother, Jeffrey (Pat) Herborn. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Allen G. Herborn.
