Carolyn A. Malin

Carolyn A. Malin, age 77, of Madison, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township. She was born August 26, 1935 in Painesville to Alma Edith (Hills) & John Aino Ritola and married Norbert Joseph Malin on November 18,1995, in Madison, Ohio. Carolyn was a lifelong member of Central Congregational Church. She worked for 13 years for Dr. Miles, worked at Lake County Hospital in surgery and had worked for Drs. Judd and Downing in Madison. She also worked for Madison schools and retired from Perry Schools. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Ferrick Heiden of Garrestsville, OH; son, Marshall (Brenda) Ferrick of N. Canton, OH; granddaughters, Ashley & Erin Ferrick; great grandchildren, Kanan and Grayson Price, & Carson Qualls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Joseph Malin in 2010 and her parents. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at North Madison Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park St., Madison, Ohio with Rev. Jay Schmidt officiating.
