Carol R. Lewis

Carol R. Lewis, age 87, of Saybrook, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024 at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Born December 2, 1936, she was the daughter of Mary (Urban) and Charles Patrick. Carol was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed tending to her flowers. An exceptional cook, Carol filled her kitchen with the best flavors and smells. Everything she touched was done with grace and care. Most of all, she enriched the lives of her family with warmth and love. Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Robert G. Lewis; her two daughters, Cynthia Brancazio, Denise (Gary) Ho; step children, Robert (Terri) Lewis, Lori Forges, Kimberly (Ed) Watkins; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Cerul; and brother, John Patrick. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Andrew and Charles; and sisters, Mary Ann, Kay, Justina, and Patricia. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
