Carol E. Spinelli, 73, of Perry, Ohio, passed away September 30, 2026 while with her loved ones. She was born December 17, 1952 in Euclid, OH to Leonarda (nee Adams) and Paul Swaidner. Carol married Samuel Spinelli at St. Cyprian, February 9, 1987.
Carol enjoyed the wonders of childhood, exploring the beach in Euclid (always with calluses on her feet from the sand) and now and then playing, jumping off roofs, balancing on ice (and sometimes falling). She continued exploring in her adult life, having lived all over the world: Switzerland, Greece, and New York City, where she was a night club singer.

She is survived by her husband, Sam; daughters, Mary Spinelli and Christine (Karen Carson) Spinelli; sister, Mary Swaidner; brothers; Paul (Kim) Swaidner, Bill (Karen) Swaidner, and Tommy (Janet) Swaidner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Leonarda. She had many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have met her.

Friends will be received 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 4th, 2026 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, at St. Cyprian Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry, Ohio. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery on Center Road.

  2. Meg and I send our heartfelt condolences and wished we could be there. Aunt Carol was amazing and I have so many fond memories of her and the Spinelli family growing up. Will always remember how loving, kind and gracious Carol was and was able to light up a room with her smile and laughter. Couldn’t have asked for a better Aunt. She will be missed terribly and know she is watching over us now.

Our Girls made their first Communion together.. they performed in Buccaneers together…Carol an I were SO PROUD OF OUR GIRLS!!
