Carmela Maynard

Carmela Maynard, 83, of Madison, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at her home. She was born June 5, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Centritti) Testa. She married the love of her life James C. Maynard in Cleveland on June 4, 1960. Carmela enjoyed reading and word search puzzles, but was well known for her Raviolis. A meal that all the family looked forward to sharing. Carmela is survived by her children; Linda (Joseph) Mitchell, Antoinette Parks, James J. (Patty Swartzlander) Maynard and Jeffrey (Patricia) Maynard; grandchildren, Joseph III (Jennifer), James (Caroline) and Catherine Mitchell, Michael (Kemi) and Deanna Parks, Rory Maynard, and Jaymee (Gary) Wittlock; great-grandchildren, Joseph IV, Brianne, Isabella, Jayden, Olivia, Lily, and Diesel. She was preceded in death by her husband, James in 2004; a son, Larry; and her parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery.
