Carl Eugene Dahl

Carl Eugene Dahl, age 80, resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing Home in Madison, Ohio. He was born on June 29, 1936 in Andover, Ohio, the son of Lavaughn (Carr) and Carl M. Dahl. Carl Married Laura Macias on October 24, 1986 in Ashtabula, Ohio. Carl was a graduate of Ashtabula High School. He served in the Ohio National Guard from 1954 to 1960. He was a Customer Service Representative for Conrail, retiring in August 1999, after 44 years of service. He enjoyed boating, was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cavs fan, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. Carl is survived by his wife Laura Dahl; daughters, Maria (David Fryauff) Dahl, of Madison, Laura (Claude) Paquet, of Perry, Norma (Anthony) Mersino, of Chicago; Jacqueline (Brian) Ruple, of Grand River, Patricia Bonin of Madison; grandchildren, Krista Mersino, Jack Mersino, Sarah Paquet, Gracie Ruple, Ella Ruple, Lola Rosa, Mia Rosa, and Oliver Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents. You were an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. We will miss you sweet Dad! We love you. Rest in peace.
