Cameron C. Nichols, age 31 of Saybrook, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023. He was born February 23, 1992 in Ashtabula, the son of Susan (Martin) Ondrejka and Chris Nichols. Cameron was a 2010 graduate of Geneva HS. He  proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force and spent 2 years stationed in Aviano, Italy. He was a member of Local 860 Laborers Union as a Journeyman. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and hosting fish fries at his home. He also loved camping and spending time with his children. He was a wonderful father, husband and son who could always lighten the mood with his contagious, unique laugh. He is survived by his wife, Alexis; children, Sadie, Bryson and Elena; parents, Susan (Randy) Ondrejka and Chris (Dawn Jarvi) Nichols; sister, Katelynn Nichols; step-sister, Brianna Nichols; mother and father in law, Andrea and Al Fistek; grandparents, Joe and Jean Nichols and grandfather, James Martin. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Nancy Martin. Friends will be received from 2-5 pm on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva. Funeral service will take place at 11 am on Monday, December 4, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva.   3. Cameron was one of my FAVORITE campers at Camp Whitewood. He was so kind and helpful. I was saddened to hear about this loss. Sending peace and healing to his family.
