Calvin L. Arnold

Calvin L. Arnold, age 82 of Mentor, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at UH Geauga Medical Center. Born June 8, 1941 in Menallen Township, PA he was the son of the late Dayton and Mary (Dennis) Arnold.
Calvin was a proud member of the UAW and worked at the General Motors Plant in Parma for over 43 years. His family meant everything to him. He never missed a baseball game or sporting event and was always there to support his children and grandchildren, cheerleading their efforts from the bleachers.
He is survived by his son Jeff (Elaine) Arnold; daughter, Mary (Robert) Kreischer; grandchildren, Robert, Nicole (Ian), Alexandra (Jack), Mackenzie, and Madison; great grandchildren, Robert and Camden; and friend and former wife, Rose Arnold. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bud, Lloyd, Dayton Jr., and Kenny, along with his sisters, Mildred (in infancy) and Doris Breakiron.
Friends will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 22nd at the funeral home with a burial immediately following at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
