Bruce R. Holcomb

Bruce R. Holcomb, age 84, of Saybrook, formerly of Portville, NY, died January 18, 2018. He was born February 23, 1933 to Wendell and Rachael Holcomb. He was a 1950 graduate of Portville High School, Portville, NY. Bruce earned an associate degree in Horticultural science and worked as a landscaper for many years. He had lived in New York, Maryland, Florida and Maine, but especially enjoyed his summer cottage in Pennsylvania, which he considered home. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and the outdoors. Bruce is survived by a niece Anita (Ryan) Johnson of Jefferson; nephew, Mike (Julie) Fusco of Mesa, AZ; 2 great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Holcomb in 1993; a sister, Noreen Mulcahey in 2003 and his parents. Services for his family will be private.
