Bruce A. Cartner

Bruce A. Cartner, age 58, resident of Ashtabula, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born August 15, 1954 in Ashtabula to Walter and Delores Cartner. Bruce worked in the Industrial Maintenance Department at the Perry Power Plant. He married Debbie Foltz on July 4, 1990 in Ashtabula. Bruce was an avid motorcyclist who loved listening to the blues, camping and fishing. He was an amazing father, husband, uncle, cousin, and most of all a phenomenal friend. Bruce was a wonderful man who will be greatly and sadly missed; a man that always made a huge impact on everyone who knew and loved him dearly. We all are very fortunate to have been a part of his life and will be forever grateful for all the great times, awesome memories, continuous laughter and outstanding knowledge; we will always carry with us. We all love and miss you dearly; you will be in our hearts and memories forever. Bruce is survived by: His wife, Debbie Cartner; Sons, Jason, (Tiffany) Cartner; Alex Cartner James Marshall Daughters, Amy Cartner and Teresa Shaffer 12 Grandchildren Many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by, his parents Walter and Delores Cartner and his brother and best friend, Walter Wayne Cartner Jr., also many aunts, uncles and cousins. Instead of services, there will be a Reverse Raffle in celebration of Bruce's life. Information pending, more details to come.
