Brenda Carolyn (Wirtanen) Burger, age 75, of Copley, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born June 24, 1949, in Jonesville, Virginia to Joe and Edna Wilson. She married her loving husband, Rod on May 5, 2018, at Central Congregational Church.

Brenda worked as a school bus driver, as well as many years at Geneva Inn Restaurant. She was a member of Central Congregational Church for many years. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, playing bingo, shopping on QVC and at JCPenney, and going to craft shows. One of her favorite pastimes was hosting holidays in her strawberry themed kitchen, with all of her family. She was the sweetest person you could ever meet, and would do anything for anyone.

She is survived by her husband, Rod; her children, Chris(Tracy), and Lindsay(John); grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Gracie and Sonny; siblings, Sue, Connie, and Randy, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and grand-dogs.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, James Wirtanen, and her parents.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM at Central
Congregational Church, 71 Park St., Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will be held at the church on the following morning, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11AM. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery.
