Bonita J. Kish, 75, resident of Perry, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, at home. Born August 16, 1932 in Painesville, Ohio, to Gertrude B. (Lawrence) & Arthur J. Kennett. Married Julius D. Kish in Perry, Ohio on June 17, 1950. LPN at Lake East Hospital as a nursery/ maternity nurse She was a 1950 Graduate of Perry High School, where she was Senior Class President and Homecoming Queen. She obtained her LPN at Willoughby School of Nursing. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Eunice Circle, Wesley Choir, Hallelujah Hand Bell Choir, Mustard Seed Christian Theatre, Comfort Meal Team, Quilting Team, and many committees. She enjoyed quilting, working with stained glass, and her perennial gardens. She volunteered at the Perry Center (Food Bank), Perry alumni committee, and Perry class of 1950 committee. She formerly served on the Civil Air Patrol. Lover of animals and flowers. She also helped her husband at his River Road Nursery. Surviving Family: husband, Julius D. Kish of Perry, Ohio; Son, Douglas (Susan) Kish of Brevard, North Carolina; 2 Daughters, Julie (Dennis) Smolinski, of Independence, Ohio; Pamela (Robert) Thompson of Perry, Ohio; 6 Grandchildren, Renee, Stacey, Steven, Bobby, Dennis, Caitlin; 6 Great Grandchildren, Evan, Carter, Alex, Jayden, Roman, Luke; Sister, Euretta Bunnell of Madison, Ohio; Foster Son, Leslie (Ursula) Lilliman of Burke, Virginia; Cat, Cleo Preceded in Death by her parents, brother-in-law Ralph ?Mac? Bunnell, niece, Becky Bunnell Brandt and nephew Gary Bunnell Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 28 at the Perry United Methodist Church, 3875 Main Street, Perry, Ohio. Rev. Keith Mostat will be officiating.
