Bob Cummings
October 24, 1954 ~ January 19, 2023
Robert “Bob” Cummings, age 68 of Madison, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023. He was born October 24, 1954 in Cleveland, to William and Mary (Kowalski) Cummings.
Robert retired from Lincoln Electric after 36 years, and went back to work at Meritec, for a year, where he met so many wonderful friends. He was a Son of the American Legion Post 601 where he was a commander and did finance for them for many years. But he loved more than anything running the lucky shoots. Bob loved to make people happy so he was always telling jokes and dancing around. He actually owes a few people a dance on the table. To Danny, who he loved like a son, and Rich, who was his partner in drink. Thanks for making him happy.
He is survived by his wife Marlenia, children, Miranda(Brian) Rose, Eric(Gina) Sims and Mary Eckenrode ; grandchildren, Mariyah, Brayden, Mia, Morgan, and Isaac ; brother, Chuck (Karyn) Cummings; and sister, Fran (John) Pulford. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Billy Cummings, and sister Rose Erich.
