Billie Jo Gribble

Billie Jo Gribble, age 84, of Perry, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Twp. Born September 2, 1929 in Shawnee, OK, she was the daughter of Willie Myrtle (Day) & Bert Walker. She married Howard J. Gribble in San Diego, CA on October 10, 1945. Mrs. Gribble formerly worked at Langshaw's and Losely Nursery in Perry. Her greatest enjoyment was the time spent with her family. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Gribble of Geneva, John (Roseann) Gribble of Perry, Jeffrey (Theresa) Gribble of Perry; step-son, Howard (Judy) Gribble of Dickson, TN; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Donna) Lovelady of OK. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Peggie and her husband, Bradford Van Pelt; her parents and sisters, Gloria Toop, Betty Berrick, Mary Climer and Martha Swan. Friends will be received 5-8 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2014, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery, Perry.
