Bill Ball With his loving family by his side, Bill Ball went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 4, 2015. A resident of Geneva, Bill was born on October 26, 1966 in Ashtabula, the son of Gayle (Piantanida) and William C. Ball. Bill worked as a manager at Avery Dennison for 27 years. A warm inviting spirit Bill had the gift of friendship. Always the life of the party he had the ability to make everyone laugh and feel welcome. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Geneva Aerie 2243. Bill was a loving father, son and brother. Bill is survived by his 4 children, Brandon, Emily, Evan and Dylan; his mother Gayle; 5 siblings: Karen (Ron) Carimi, Koreen Thompson, Connie (Deronda) Strickland, Laurie (Ron) Donatone, and James (Sue) Ball, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in Death by his father Bill in 2013 and his nephew Jason Craine. Friends and Family will be received: 1:00 to 3:00pm and 5:00 to 8:00pm on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva. Rev. Robert Lanterman will officiate the service. His final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.

  8. So so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. Mere words are completely inadequate at a tragic time like this and I'm sure that anything I could say would be of little comfort. Just know that I have fond memories of Bill from way back in my coaching days at GHS, and that I'm glad I had the chance to know him. He left this life way too soon and my heart aches for the entire family.

  10. So sad and shocking to hear about Bill passing away. My deep sympathies to his family. Bill was my first true friend at Edinboro Uni of PA. Being from Pakistan, I did not have many friends at the University. He became a good buddy. I will remember him in my prayers. Best wishes to his family.
