Betty Webb

Betty Webb, age 83, resident of Perry, Ohio, passed away after a courageous battle of pancreatic cancer with family by her side at home on Sunday, November 20, 2011. She was born September 14, 1928 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Georgia Mae (Nixon) & Orphy Morris. Betty married Dale F Webb in Baltimore, MD on August 3, 1949. She worked at Higbee s for 25 years where she was an award winning salesperson. Betty was a den leader for Boy Scout Troup 71 of Perry for many years and taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Perry. Betty was a proud mother of six children. She loved traveling, shopping, baking and most of all eating. To have met Betty, she had a way to make you smile and laugh. Her direct honest sense of humor will be greatly missed. Betty lived her life with a heart full of faith in God. Her positive faithful attitude towards life taught no matter what the trial; with a positive faith driven attitude you will overcome the obstacle. With God all things are possible . She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Renee Webb of Perry, sons, Larry (Pamela) Webb of Thousand Oaks, CA; Gene Webb of Phoenix, AZ; Randy Webb of Perry, OH; Craig (Marie) Webb of Colorado Springs, CO; Brian Webb of Perry and 6 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Parents; Granddaughter, Renee Compton; Brother, Robert Morris; Sister, June Rieger Friends will be received 6-9 PM, Friday, November 25, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Private family graveside services will be observed. Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
