Betty A. Seese, age 90, of Perry, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Rae-Ann Geneva Skilled Nursing. She was born on March 14, 1934, In Doddridge County WV, the daughter of Sadie Pearl (Gaines) and Ollie Claude Wright.
On September 14, 1951 she married the love of her life, Earl Seese, and together they started a family and a journey that would endure for 67 years, until his passing in 2019.

Betty retired from working many years, in the cafeteria, for Perry School System. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Perry. Over the years she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Women’s Mission Society. She also enjoyed serving others, by helping with funeral dinners.
Betty was a wonderful homemaker and her main focus was on caring for her family whom she loved dearly. She was a great cook and baker and shared this love by bringing dinners to others who were sick and recovering from an illness.

She is survived by her son, David (Dollie) Seese; daughter, Cindy Seese; two grandchildren, Travis (Tori) Seese, Jennifer (Jason) Allen; great-grandchildren, Ethan and Landon Seese, Andrew and Henry Allen; sisters, Janice Glover and Dianna Hayes; brothers, Jack (Marilyn) Wright and Larry (Beth) Wright; many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents, sister, Lorraine Hoffman; brother, Jimmie Wright and sister, Shirley Ash.

Friends will be received from 11-12pm. Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 3918 Main Street, Perry, OH 44081. Funeral Service will follow at 12 noon at the church with Pastor John Oleyar officiating. Burial will take place at Perry Cemetery.
