Betty was a master insurance underwriter and was a past member of the Insurance Women of Buffalo, serving as president of the organization from 1976 to 1977.

Betty will be remembered for her easy smile, positive attitude and great sense of humor. Referred to as "Grambo" by many of her grand and great grandchildren, she also possessed a no nonsense approach to life.
She was a classically trained vocalist singing both with big bands and in church, an excellent cook and an avid reader. She enjoyed orchestra concerts and live theater and also followed local sports teams. Betty collected may souvenirs from her travels. She loved solving crossword puzzles and usually ended her day with a glass of craft beer, sherry or single malt scotch.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her 'second family' at the Sanctuary, of whom she was very fond, and who took such wonderful care of her during her illness. We would also like to thank Bella Care Hospice for their care and support.

I will miss Aunt Betty's fire, she always told me .”Be who you are and stand up for yourself” Nobody else can do it as good as you. She was a pistol, yet she could be warm and fuzzy, I'm going to miss it all. Give my Mom a kiss for me Aunt Betts, I love you and will miss you.
