Betty Lou "Penny Buck" Schafer

Betty Lou Penny Buck Schafer, age 68 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home with her husband, Tom, at her side. She was born on February 15, 1949 in Cleveland, the daughter of Byron and Betty (Monck) Buck. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Scott Buck. She married Thomas L. Schafer on August 4, 1973 in Madison, Ohio.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tom; and four brothers, Glenn and Terry Buck of Concord, Ohio, Byron and Alice Buck of Gridley, California, Joe and Becky Buck of Ashtabula, Ohio, Bly Buck and Mary Eland of Madison, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.
Penny graduated from Madison in 1967 and spent most of her life in Madison and Harpersfield until retiring to Myrtle Beach. Penny worked as a computer operator for Perfection Corporation in Madison and then was in real estate sales.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18th at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Alexander Harper Memorial Cemetery in Unionville, Ohio.
