Betty J. Marteny

Funeral Service for Betty J. Marteny, age 94 of Perry, will be at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison, at 11:00am on Friday, February 17, 2023.  Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Perry Cemetery following the service. Betty was born November 4, 1928 in Rosemont, WV the daughter of John and Flora (Poling) Godwin. She passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at Cardinal Woods Nursing Home in Madison. Betty worked at Ohio Rubber in Willoughby for 35 years and retired in 1990. With a loving caring heart she was always there to take special care of her family. She is survived by her sons, Bernard (Mary Lou) Marteney, Delbert (Peggy) Marteny; grandchildren, Stacy Marteney, Allen Gillin; great grandchildren, James, Kaylee, Dominic. She is preceded in death by husband Bernard; daughter, Eileen Sue Gillin; son, John Marteny; grandson, Virgil Marteney and her parents and several sisters and brothers.
