Betty C. Rigby

Betty C. Rigby, age 72, of Madison, Ohio passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at UH Geneva. She was born July 24, 1946 in Thompson, Ohio the daughter of Goldie (Gaines) and Benjamin Yeater. She married Roger Walter Rigby on March 21, 1963. Betty enjoyed crocheting and knitting Christmas stockings as well as many other special items for everyone, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going on business trips with her husband and visiting the casinos. Her greatest enjoyment and biggest achievement though, came from raising all her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Christine (David) Skidmore, Beverly (Duane) Manley, Roger Rigby, Michael Rigby; grandchildren, Joshua (Nikki), Jillian (Steve), Jolene, Anthony (Candice), Troy, Beverly, Duane (Kara), Daniel (Ashley), Timothy, Jacob and Jordan; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Yager, Patty (Tony) Korpela, Nellie (Bill) Eggelston; brothers, Denver (Marilyn) Yeater, Butch Yeater; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger of 34 years; grandson, Juston; parents; brothers, Jessie Yeater, Jimmy Yeater; sisters, Dorothy Piercy and Alice Shaughnessy. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison, Ohio, 44057.
