Bettie Anne Kovach

Bettie Ann Kovach passed away at Rae Ann Nursing Home on August 5, 2026. She was born in Erie, PA on December 15, 1940. She graduated from Euclid High School in 1960. She met her future husband Bob where she was working on Dec. 15, 1961 on her birthday. She went up to Bob and asked if he wanted a kiss. It took him by surprise. What she really meant was “Do you want a Hershey Kiss”. Without a doubt, he knew with her beauty and sense of humor “she was the girl for him”. They were married on September 8, 1962.

Bettie was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Harpersfield where she enjoyed worship and fellowship. She was an avid reader and probably read over 100 books during her lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Lemmons; and her two brothers Bob and Bill. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert of 64 years; her three sons, Scott (Linda), David (Marsha) and Matthew (Cindy); six grandchildren, Derek, Brandon, Shane, Heather, Hope and Amber; and 8 great-grandchildren. She loved all of them and enjoyed them when they visited.

Friends and family will be received from 5-7 pm on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Funeral will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, August 11th at the funeral home. Final Resting place will be at Trumbull Center Cemetery on Rt 534 in Trumbull.
