Betsy A. Bowers

Betsy A. Bowers, age 73, of Madison passed away Friday June 6, 2014 at Cardinal Woods. She was born on March 22, 1941 in Greensboro, NC the daughter of Pauline (Tiller) and Fred T. Clawson. Mrs. Bowers was a 1960 graduate of Fulton High School in Knoxville, TN and had worked at the Lake County Microfilm Department before retiring in 2003. She enjoyed collecting stuffed animals and dolls. She is survived by her son, Carl (Rebecca) T. Marsh, Jr. of Ashtabula; grandchildren Cori Ann and Ethan Thomas Marsh; great-grandchildren, Ethan Jr. and Devin Owen; nephews Michael, Robert and David; nieces, Mary "Kathy", Deborah and Betty. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Clawson and sister, Mary Catherine Clawson. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday June 12, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison. Funeral service will follow at 8 PM at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
