Bessie L (Bazor) Cook, 88, died February 13, 2016 at Tri-Point Medical Center. Bessie was born on March 17, 1927 in Braxton, Mississippi the daughter of Leonard L. and Sarah E. (Jones) Bazor. Bessie graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medical Technology in 1949. She married Mark J. Cook in Hattiesburg Mississippi in 1950. Mrs. Cook graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Cytotechnologist in Cleveland Ohio in 1978. Bessie worked at St. Thomas Hospital and Southgate Doctors Laboratory in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She was the loving mother to Bob (Jean Graham) Cook, Steven Cook, Susan (Barry) Deming and Mary (David) Kuzy; beloved grandmother to Carrie Cook, Mark Cook, Steven Kuzy, Mary Deming, Brian Deming and Sarah Kuzy; and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and 6 siblings.
In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Lake Hospital Foundation, 7590 Auburn Road, Concord, Ohio, 44077 or the Tri-County Bible Church, 2946 Burns Rd., Madison, Ohio, 44057.
Visitation will be held, Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 11:00 am. until 12:00 pm. at the Tri-County Bible Church, 2946 Burns Rd., Madison. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon. Interment following service at Perry Cemetery.
