Bernadine Marie Manley

Bernadine Marie Manley, age 81, of Madison, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014. Born April 3, 1933 in Sutton, WV, she was the daughter of Sylvia (Keener) & Willie Quickle. Bernadine graduated from Nicholas County High School in Summersville, WV in 1953. She was a devoted mother raising a family and worked as a nurses' aide for 22 years at Stewart Lodge. She enjoyed doing sign language and gardening and was a former member of Thompson United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, Dwayne (Debbie) Manley, Tim (Tammy) Manley, Doug (Claudine) Manley, Randy Manley; grandchildren, Ashlee, Chantel, Kelsi; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jayden, Riley; sister, Josephine (Jim) Sample and brother, Roland (Sue) Quickle. She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Ray Manley; parents; brothers, Burnell, Eugene, Leon and sister, Rosetta Dennis. Friends will be received 4-7 pm Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. Funeral service will be 11 am, Thursday, October 2nd at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
