Benjamin A. Butcher, age 27, of Madison Township, Ohio passed away at home unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was born October 12, 1990 in Painesville.
Ben was a skilled home appliance technician, who also taught appliance repair. He was employed at Freds Appliance Service, Northeast Ohio and enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, four-wheeling, camping and jet skiing. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
He is survived by his parents, Fred (Jamie) Butcher of Weeki Wachee, Florida, Kimberly (Mike) Claypool of Madison Township; siblings, Adam (Jessica Shreve) Butcher of Perry, Holly (Aaron Ezratty) Butcher of Columbus; grandfather, Gordon Rostocil of Fairport; niece, Riley Ross; aunt, Linda Neal; uncle, Eugene Butcher Jr.; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anna Rostocil in 2004 and paternal grandparents, Eugene and Charlene Butcher.
Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
