Barbara (Naughton) Neville

Barbara (Naughton) Neville, age 84, passed away May 3, 2018, in Largo, Florida. She was born on August 15, 1933, the daughter of Melvin and Gertrude Naughton. She was a 1951 graduate of Madison Memorial High School and Dyke College of Business. She was married to Wayne F. Neville on August 12, 1952. They moved from Madison, Ohio to Seminole, Florida in 1978. She was an avid knitter, did jigsaw puzzles, and traveled. She retired from the University of South Florida in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Tina, of Seminole, FL; son, Bruce of College Station, TX; brothers, Edwin (Nancy) of Painesville, OH, and Dale (Susan) of Taylors, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne F. Neville; and brother, Earl Naughton. A Memorial Service and burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Perry Cemetery, Perry, OH. Fellowship to follow at Central Congregational Church, 71 Park Street, Madison, OH. In lieu of flowers, send contributions to Angel Stitches c/o Aldersgate Methodist Church, 9530 Starkey Rd., Seminole, FL 33777. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Something not mentioned in the obituary is that she was very intelligent and valedictorian of our class! We lived together one summer while our husbands were in the service and spent many wonderful times together over the years.
I considered her a wonderful friend and she will be missed. My heart goes out to the family!
