Barbara Loveland

Barbara (Brewster) (McFarland) Loveland of Painesville, formerly Madison, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at her home. Born December 7, 1923 in Painesville to Wade and Helen (Wills) Brewster. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Barbara married Homer A. Loveland in 1975. Barbara was a loyal employee of the Madison Public Library for more than 30 years. She loved to read; work jigsaw puzzles; and collect teddy bears, Santas, and angels. Barbara was the loving mother of Vicki (Tom) Graves, Bonnie McFarland (Denny Organ), Tim Loveland, Robin (Josie) McFarland, Roger Loveland, Cindy (Bob) Kundrat, Becky (Tim) Maloney, Diane (Rich) Berry, Kathy Loveland, Kevin (Diane) McFarland and Kelly (Pat) New. Barbara was the grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 11. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Raymond D. McFarland. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Randy, and sisters Lucille and Jackie. Friends and family may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Behm Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2009 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
