Barbara Lee Matthews

Barbara Lee Matthews, age 76, of Wickliffe, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 at TriPoint Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1947 in Cleveland, the daughter of Louis D. And Elaine M. (Hopkins) Wichman. Barbara was a clerk at Collins Grocery Store and worked in the Madison Schools cafeteria. She was a talented artist, renowned baby whisperer, lover of film, and matriarch of her beloved family. Barb’s delicious baking, laugh, and warm nature will be greatly missed by her friends and family alike. She is survived by her daughter, Regina Matthews; son, James (Christine) Matthews; sister, Dyvonne (Warren "Buzz") Hooper; grandchildren, Rachelle, Amanda, Kyle and Jaret Matthews; step grandchildren, Ashley and Breanna Snowberger; great grandchildren, Elijah Tartaglione, Irie Matthews, Kiara Calhoun, Makai Calhoun, Nevaeh Ferguson, Karson Taylor, Jackson Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents, and brothers Dale Wichman and Paul Wichman.
