Barbara A. Bertleff

Barbara A. Bertleff,age 77, of Painesville, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 in Madison. She was born November 9, 1930 in Painesville to Ethel Mae (Varner) & R. Dayton Curtiss. Retired in July 2006 from Lake Hospital System after 40 years as a Staff Medical Secretary. She was a graduate of Harvey High School and member of the Painesville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was also a huge Nascar fan. She is survived by her daughter Tamara (Doug) Pike of Madison; Son, Scott Bertleff of Painesville; 4 Grandchildren, Alaina (Joseph) Hejduk of Madison, Danielle (David) Osborne of Fremont, Ohio, Rachel Pike of Tiffin, Ohio, and Vanessa LaPlante; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Cole & Autumn; 1 Sister, Dee Prime of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jay Bertleff in 1985 Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 North Park Place, Painesville, OH 44077. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Kalb. Final Resting Place will be in Fairview Cemetery, Madison, Ohio Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057.
