Ashley Wickert

Ashley Lynn Wickert, age 25, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Monday March 25, 2013 at UH Geneva Medical Center in Geneva. She was born September 8, 1987 at Euclid General Hospital to Gail (Wilson) and David Wickert. Ashley was a 2005 graduate of Madison High School. While in her senior year, she discovered early on a passion for helping others. She began working for the Madison Fire Department at the age of 17 and went on to become a certified paramedic. Ashley also worked as a dispatcher with Community Care Ambulance. Hard working and dedicated to her profession, Ashley lived her life in the service of others. She is survived by her parents Gail & David Wickert of Madison; sister, Angie Wickert of Kent; maternal grandmother, Betty Wilson of Madison; paternal grandparents, Barbara & Robert Wickert of Madison; uncles, Dan (Vicki) Wilson of Mentor, Bob (Colleen) Wilson of Madison, Tim (Karin) Wilson of Columbus, Terry (Theresa) Wilson of Mentor, Matt (Pat) Wickert of Painesville; aunts, Patricia (Dave) Lawson of Painesville, Ann Wickert of Madison, Amy (Rick) Miller of Colorado Springs, CO and many cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by grandfather, Daniel Wilson. Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. & 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30 at the funeral home. Pastor Harry Buch of Central Congregational Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Madison Fire District, 33 North Lake Street, Madison, OH 44057.
