Arthur S. Mello, Age 60,of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2009 Hospice of The Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. Born October 22, 1948 in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores to Noermia (Menezes) & Arthur S. Melo he married Patricia Brainard on October 30, 2005 in Lilydale, New York He was a boilermaker for Local 744 Was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time on his boat. He also enjoyed nature, hunting, gardening, was an accomplished craftsman. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends, was always willing to lend a helping hand and loved his children and his dogs, Jasper & Eugene. ??and I think to myself what a wonderful world?. Louie Armstrong He is survived by Wife, Patricia Mello of Geneva; 2 Daughters, Margaret (Anthony) Petisce of Cranston, RI & Olga (Drew) McDougal of Stratford, CT; 1 Son, Steven Mello of Cranston, RI; 1 Step Daughter, Erika (Gregory) Zakrajsek of Cleveland; 1 Step Son, Brian Mocilnikar of Eastlake; 4 Grandchildren, Matthew & Lindsey Petisce, Scarlet & Christian McDougal; 3 Brothers, Jose? Menezes, Eugene Menezes & Dimas DeMello; 3 Sisters, Hilda Aguiar, Ezlina Rego & Estrella Cavaco & Many nieces & nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Manuel Melo & sister, Linda Melo Harris Friends will be received 5-8 pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, Rhode Island. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., East Providence, Rhode Island. Final Resting Place will be at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, Rhode Island. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
