Arnold "Bud" Kerr, 74, passed away at home in the early morning of July 28, 2016. He was born to Edgar and Louise (Bee) Kerr on February 20, 1942. Bud married his loving wife, Connie, on December 3, 1988. Bud was raised in Cherry Tree, PA and graduated from Purchase Line High School, Class of 1961. He was a proud member of the Air Force and served his country well as a telecommunications operator. He was a lab technician at Avery (Fasson) for over 20 yrs and a member of the American Legion for 15 yrs. Woodworking and electronics were hobbies he enjoyed in his free time. He loved dog sledding with his huskies, camping and hunting, though no one knows if he ever shot anything. Bud leaves behind his loving wife of 26 years, Connie; children, Barbara Johnson, David (Cruz) Kerr, Buddy Kerr, Gina (Steve) Paratto, Ronald (Renee) Krause, Robert (Wendy)Krause, John Krause, David Hopper; 28 grand, and great, great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth, Patty, Dorothy (Don), Betty Lou (Robert), Barbara, Judy (Donald); brothers, Jim (Mary), and Sonny (Donna). He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy; parents; sister, Pauline; brothers, Jack and Bob. His family would like to send out a very special thank you to the Great Lakes Caring Hospice Team for the loving care of Bud. Friends may call 3-7p.m. Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057.
