While I never had the pleasure of meeting Anne personally, I wish I had the opportunity of meeting her.
May the memories give you peace, and stay in your heart forever.

  4. John,
Marge and I are so sorry to read of Anne’ passing. She was such a wonderful neighbor. We enjoyed the evening we spent at the condo on the lake. One memory I have ,is you were out of town and we had a wind storm and limbs fell. Here was this petitie lady was outside trying to remove them and I came to the rescue and helped her
I am sorry I cannot attend calling hours, my thoughts and prayer are with you and your family

  5. I met Anne while volunteering with the Friends of Morley Library selling raffle tickets for the annual basket raffle. She told me about her many travels oversees and her love of dogs, especially pugs. When the library reopened after Covid she volunteered every Tuesday where we worked together with the rest of the volunteers to get the Bookshop ready to reopen to the public. Sadly, she had to stop volunteering to take care of husband who was ill. She will be missed by all. My condolences to the family.

  6. We met Anne & John by chance on a Mekong river cruise 10years ago. We struck up an instant friendship and spent most of the vacation together. Although at the end we went our separate ways, us to the UK and them back home, we remained in touch sharing our life dramas via email . Anne had the funniest sense of humour and we shared many special moments but in particular Anne used to look out for funny signs and shop names especially those with bad spelling and we laughed at these for hours on end . Her memory will live on with us through new signs we find and she will also be missed as a very special friend from across the miles. Our sincerest condolences to all her family.

  7. We were so shocked to hear of Anne’s passing away John. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you & your family. We have missed & thought of you often since your leaving our Sturgeon Point family. We will try & attend the calling hours on Friday ❤️🙏 Debbie & Al Schrader

  8. My sincere condolences to John and family. I met Anne a number of years ago through our shared interest in rug hooking and always enjoyed her company. I have many fond memories of good times shared. I particularly enjoyed her sharing stories about her families heritage from the island of Lipari and a wonderful sense of family and history. She’ll be missed.
