Anna M. McVan

Anna M. McVan, age 75, of Geneva, passed away Saturday, July 17, at Geauga Medical Center. She was born September 11, 1945 in Fredricktown, PA, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Tossak) Zites.
She married Francis McVan in Fairport Harbor on November 14, 1981.
Anna attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Painesville and worked as a hair dresser. She loved dogs and fostered several for GRIN. She also handled therapy dogs for Harbor Light Hospice. Anna loved camping, and was a firework exhibitor for over 35 years.
She is survived by her husband, Francis; sons, Brad Michael Perala and Scott Richard Perala. She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents; Dave and Dorothy McCreight and son, Dale Allen Perala.
Friends and family will be received 5-7 pm, Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 250 Bowhall Road in Painesville with a Service immediately following at 7 pm. Pastor Paul Sundbom will officiate the service. Ah, Anna you are sorely missed. Who could ever forget your infectious laugh, your love for golden retrievers and a good glass of wine. Breathe deeply without pain. I see you amidst a pack of Goldens smiling with you.
