Anna L. DuFour, age 95, of Painesville, passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1929 in Grampian Pennsylvania to Newton McCracken Sr. and Minnie McCracken. She married her beloved husband, Ernest DuFour Sr., and they remained together for 48 years until his passing.

Anna was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She adored her family; especially the babies and toddlers; they always brought a smile to her face. She was loving and kind, and a very hard worker. There was nothing she liked more than working in her yard, or cooking something delicious in the kitchen. She was known for making the best hot fudge topping. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, watching The Price is Right, and Wheel of Fortune. She was also an avid listener of the Gaither Vocal Band.

She leaves behind her children; Ernest (Laurell) DuFour Jr., Sandra (late, L. Ray Smith Jr.) Smith; son-in-law, Dale (late, Sally) Broadwater, Donna Parsons, Bonnie (Larry) Johnson, Chris (Debbie) DuFour; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Fowler, and Mary-Jane McKinney.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Sally Broadwater and Kathy DuFour; siblings, James, Leona, Newton Jr., Cora, Bill, Frank, Connie, and Pat; and son-in-law, L. Ray Smith Jr.

Friends will be received on Monday January 6, 2025 from 5-7PM at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH 44057. A service will be held on the following morning at 11AM at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery.
