Anita Lou (Koch) Zoretich

Anita Lou (Koch) Zoretich, age 92, of Ashtabula, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at ACMC. Born the daughter of Henry Joseph and Henrietta Koch on June 25, 1931 in North Braddock, PA. She married John M. Zoretich Jr. of Braddock, PA on June 26,1951 in Pittsburgh, PA. Surviving family include sons, Jerauld and John (Susan). Daughter-in-law, Marylin Zoretich. Grandchildren, Kevin (Becca), Kristopher, John (Cass), and Kristina (Joe). Great-grandchildren, Rayah, Kruz, and Aubrey. Her much loved nephew and niece, Chuck and Kathy Koch, have been so helpful and supportive to Anita during her illness that they deserve our sincere thanks. And a very special thanks to Becca, the nurse in the family, who comforted Anita and guided the family through a bad time. Anita worked in many areas but particularly enjoyed working with the engineers at the Perry Nuclear Plant as their secretary. She received much satisfaction from gardening, reading, and baking, but her true love and calling was taking care of her family and friends. Her guiding hand will be sorely missed, but her life lessons will be passed down through those she loved. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and sons, Joseph and James.
