Andrew “Andy” Frederick Romig, age 92 of Rock Creek, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 28, 1934 in Chardon, the son of Otto and Sophie (Putka) Romig. He married Roberta Warren on October 6, 1951 in Painesville.

Andrew worked as Maintenance Mechanic for I.R.C Fibers and Dysons until he retired. He loved Polka music and being outside on his tractor. He enjoyed going to car shows and cruising around in his 1964 Rambler. He spent a lot of time in his workshop. He had a good sense of humor and he always had a good joke to share. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.

He is survived by his daughters, Joan Romig, Laura Reznak, Ruth (Bob) Feldkamp, Nancy Mason; sons, Richard (Justina) Romig, William (Linda) Romig; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Raymond Romig. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta; his parents; and brothers, Harlan Romig, and Alan Romig.
