Alverda (Berdie) Costanzo McGuire

Alverda (Berdie) Costanzo McGuire, age 85 of Geneva, Ohio passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Euclid. She battled dementia for a few years. She was born March, 30, 1932 in Pennsylvania. She was retired from TT Electronics in Perry. She loved Crocheting, playing cards, and playing Bingo. Her favorite things were to spend time with her children and grandchildren and traveling with her best friends, Teena and Betty.
She is survived by her constant companion Pumpkin the cat; daughters, Linda (Don) Waddell, Patty (Brett) Sloan, Marie (Scott) Butler, Louise (Gary) Bena, Felicia (Karl) White, sons, Herb Costanzo and Steven Costanzo, daughter-in-law, Elaine McGuire, adopted daughter, Loretta Tramble and step-children, Roxanne (Jack) Hoskins and Michael (Gina) McGuire, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, her brothers Ed, Jake, Ron, Ray and Bob Bruner; and sisters, Mary Biesel and Rita Davison. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William (Mickey) McGuire, and Herb Costanzo; parents Ed and Luave Bruner; children, Bill McGuire and Sally Fraser; sisters, Peggy and Luave Darlene, 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and best friend Barb Bruner.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 5-8 pm with a service at 8 p.m. at the Behm Family Funeral Home 175 South Broadway Geneva, Ohio.
A Graveside Service will be Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10:00 am at Alexander Harper Memorial Cemetery in Unionville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, OH 44004.
