Allan Rains, 89 years old, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born January 11, 1933 in Buffalo, NY the son of James and Anne (Blewett) Rains. Allan worked in the medical sales industry and real estate until he retired in 1989. He was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan.  He loved living by the lake and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on Lake Erie. He loved woodworking, golfing and most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Barbara (Mark) Vick, Allan “Mike” (Lori) Rains, Gary Rains, Karen (Brian) Bober, Greg (Lisa) Rains, Jeffrey (Patty) Rains, Timothy Rains, Carolyn (Larry Babin) Rains, Grandchildren, Jamie (Matt), Jason (Stephanie), Joe (Corinn), Bryan, Kim (Steve), Chris (Brittney), Mitch (McKenna), Matthew, Danielle (Kate), Melissa; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Ryan, Owen, Emma and Ella; sister, Marcia (Steve) Faulkenberry; and companion, Eileen Kidner.  He was preceded in death by his Loving Wife, Ruth; parents; sister, Anne Lesniak, brothers, Steven and Wilferd Rains and companion Jeanette Kolar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM on Friday, September 23, 2022 at St. Cyprians Church, Middle Ridge Road in Perry. Friends will be received from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Friday at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Final Resting Place will be at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. A special thank you to Renee, Faith, Pebbles, Belinda and Orey for their loving care.   1. We all loved our Uncle Al. He was such a wonderful person and it was no secret that he loved his sister Anne very much! She loved him dearly too! My wife Lisa, and our two boys Jake and Ryan, are sending thoughts, prayers, and strength from Boulder to all of the family.
