Alice Alma Grippi

Alice Alma Grippi, age 93, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Geneva Village Skilled Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Dover, New Hampshire on October 13, 1924, the daughter of Alma (Baron) and R. Gordon Booth. Alice was a 1943 graduate of the McIntosh College of Business, and an employee of Montgomery Wards as a fashion manager for 20 years. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved ballroom dancing and playing Scrabble with friends and family. She was proud to be from the beautiful state of New Hampshire, enjoying the scenic beaches and mountains. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann (Jerry) Soslowicz; grandchildren, Devin (Janet) Pethtel, Lauren (Vincent) Caimi, and Meghan (Michael) Lagoni; and great-grandchildren, Capri, Dean, and Ada. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert G. Booth; and nephew, Rev. Mark Thomas. Friends will be received 4:00 to 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at The Behm Family Funeral Home 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio followed by a Funeral Service at 5:00pm at the funeral home. Rev. Sean Donnelly will officiate the service. Final Resting Place will be St. Charles Cemetery in New Hampshire.
