Albert J. Bowman
November 28, 1943 ~ May 30, 2017
Albert J. Bowman, 73, passed away at home the morning of May 30, 2017. Albert was born to May June (Catlin) and Wilfred H. Bowman and was raised in northeast Ohio. He married his love, Cora in 1965.
Albert served in the US Navy. He was an auto mechanic for many years, but eventually found his work home with the IAM Union at Meyers Snow Plow where he retired after many years of service. Albert was private and kept to himself. He worked hard to provide for his family. When he found the time, Albert would retreat to the campground, the bowling alley, and the card table for a healthy game of poker.
He will be missed by daughter, Barbara (Steven) Taylor; son, John (Meredith) Bowman; grand children, James, Katie, Bobbie, Cori; great grandchild, Jaydon. Albert is preceded in death by his wife, Cora, and parents.
Private services are being observed. Final resting place is Fairview Cemetery.
