Agnes M. Tomko

Agnes M. Tomko, 90, of Harpersfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at home. Born March 5, 1919 in Thompson to Irene & Frank Fink and married Joseph Jay Tomko in March of 1939. Agnes was an avid gardener and loved her flowers. In the summer her front yard bloomed with colors that rivaled the rainbow. She also loved music and taught music to many of the children and adults in the area and her devotion will live on in the hearts of those students. She enjoyed entertaining and her home was always warm and cheerful. She was a genuine friend to all that knew her and will be missed by all. She is survived by Husband of 70 years, Joseph Jay Tomko of Harpersfield Granddaughter, Theresa Tomko of Geneva Great Grandson, Dylan Tomko of Geneva She was preceded in death by Sons, Joseph M. & David Lyn Tomko and her Parents Friends will be received 1-2:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. Robert A. Cunningham of United Church will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
