A. Nelson Scott, Age 92,of Madison, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 Geneva Village Retirement Community in Geneva. Born June 1, 1916 in Madison, Ohio, to Harriet Marie (Wheeler) & Arthur Nelson Scott he married Charlotte Marie Campbell December 31, 1947 in Conneaut, Ohio. He was a machinist at True Temper, Inc. for 33 years. Mr. Scott was a long time bowler and was active with the senior bowling league. He loved living and working on the family farm. He is survived by Daughters; Phyllis (Robert) Shreves of Madison and Charlene (Robert) Miller of Madison; Sons, Maurice (Mary) Wheeler of Mentor and Gary Scott of Madison; 7 Grandchildren; 20 Great-Grandchildren; and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte; his parents; 2 grandsons; brothers, Avery, Karl, and Merton; and sister, Fannie Alberta Ferguson. Friends will be received 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21 , 2008 at the funeral home. Rev. William Alvey will be officiating. Final Resting Place will be in Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
